KUDOS !!!

Another pleasing news from the same place, Chandil, of Jharkhand state & about the same non-governmental organisation about which my article dated 25th May 2010 relates. Yes, it is Shaheed Nirmal Mahato Mahamanav Sewa Sansthan that has been serving this area since its establishment some years back in the fields of Yogasan, Accupressure, Naturopathy etc. It has now extended its service in the arena of education. An experienced educationist,Vijay Anand, who is at depth in teaching English has started rendering his services absolutely free of cost to the needy students of this small town under the banner of this institution.

Interestingly, the class that starts at 11.00 sharp in the morning every Sunday & continue till 04.00 in the afternoon includes its students fromamong the age group of 8 years to 45 years. A strict instruction has been given to the students that they need to go to their class only after taking a substantial food at house enabling them to stay without any constraint of hunger.

Dr. Ghatwar, the President of this N.G.O. states with enthusiasm that three Sundays have successfully passed & the number of students is gradually increasing. It has crossed 54 on last Sunday i.e. on the 27th this month that had started only with 12 students. Kudos to all concerned!!

Social Service, Why ?

There is an N.G.O. named as NIRMAL MAHATO MAHA MANAW SEWA SANSTHAN in Chandil sub-division of Saraikella distt. in Jharkhand. On 24th there was a celebration that this N.G.O. had organised. A ten-day camp of YOGASAN, ACCUPRESSURE & other Indian treatment systems were duly completed this day & the participants were to be handed over a certificate by (Ex) Vice-Chief Minister, Jharkhand Govt., Mr. Sudhir Mahato.

On this occasion a number of citizens from Jamshedpur & neighbouring areas were present. All were of the unanimous view that this organization has been serving the people of Jharkhand selflessly under the due guidance of its President Mr. (Dr.) Bharat Singh Ghatwar & Secretary Mr. Sudhir Ghorai. Dr. Ghatwar holds his conscience as the chief motivator towards doing the social service.

It is worth mention that Dr. Ghatwar has also been honoured by the (Ex-) Governer of Jharkhand for his selfless services to mankind in the field of Accupressure & Yogasan.

Like previous years Dr. Arun Kumar Upadhyaya M.D. who is simultaneously a Homoeopathic doctor & an expert in Indian & Chinese conventional treatment systems contributed his expertise in this camp as well as treated many villagers free of cost. Accompanied with him was Mr. Pradeep Kumar Jaiswal (both from Kolkata) who has ever been a close partner of Dr. Upadhyaya in these kinds of therapies.

SORRY !!
I regret to my readers that I remained absent from your views for a pretty long time. I have started reading books, magazines, newspapers etc. again. How can it be that I would stop sharing my feelings with you then ?
I have just finished reading a Hindi novel named as " Gawaah Gairhazir " that means " Witness Absent ". It has been written by Mr. Chandra Kishore Jaiswal who is a fantastic Hindi Writer.
He picks his characters generally from amongst the most common people living in the Indian villages. Mr. Jaiswal narrates their story in such a spontaneous style that they livingly appear before the eyes of the readers with all their love, sorrow, tacts, hopes, beliefs, blind-faiths, hatred etc. etc. & make them lost in their world with equal sensation and hear-beats.
It is not unusual that Mr. Jaiswal has been honoured on international platforms & a movie named as " Ruee kaa Bojh " ( i.e. Cotton's Burden ) has been widely appreciated in different International Film Festivals.
I am quite unfortunate that I had missed reading his famous story " Nakbesar Kaga Le Bhaga " that was published in " DHARMYUG " ( a weekly magazine in Hindi ). Coincidentally, I had found that old issue ( of the saod magazine ) at my Mamajee's house ( Mamajee = Paternal Uncle) who is very fond of reading stories & is a great admirer of Mr. Jaiswal. It was my Mamajee who had persuaded me to read the story & even then I had ignored. Now, I can understand what a great mistake that was !
